I am With You...

Dear Friend,

… fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand(Isaiah 41:10, ESV).

I want to remind us of a powerful key to walking in faith because so often the facts and circumstances surrounding us begins to overwhelm. We think to ourselves a host of negative thoughts/beliefs.

  • My marriage or money is a mess.

  • I get no respect at work.

  • I have health issues that don’t seem to be improving.

  • Can I get a break sometime?

GiG, it’s one thing for these thoughts to pop into our heads. But if we dwell on them, we can become crippled by them by way of disappointment and ending up on the side of the emotional road immobilized by fear; eventually, we end up struggling to trust anyone, especially God.

The enemy wants us to stay focused on what we can do on our own — with our ability, our thinking, and our limitations. He knows that with God, we can do all things, which is why we need reminding that we are not alone! God is with us. He is empowering us. And through Him, we are fully able to do what He has called us to do.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3, ESV

While we might be in a battle against the enemy today, it is important that we remind ourselves that our God has already won the war. And through Jesus, we have been born again into a living hope!

GiG, take care, and evaluate who we listen to amid our battles. Listening to the wrong voice will hurt our progress but listening to the right voice (God’s voice!) will give us the faith we need to step into our destiny. God is with us, and He will never forsake us!

So we must be mindful of what we listen to and focus on in addition to God’s Word. Yes, yes, yes, continually remind us of the good things He’s done. As we listen to, meditate on, and remember His truth, our faith is going to be built up so we can both endure the present and be prepared for the awesome future He has for us!

May we be encouraged to respond to the Truth, know the Truth, and stand on the Truth. Remember who’s with us!

God’s Got It… so we can know the TRUTH—The only way to replace old ruts in the mind is to form new ruts with the truth.

Called to serve and encouraging others to thrive,

DEA
