Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."

Do you know the purest form of water? It’s rainwater. Water has no acidity in it, its purest form. Rainwater doesn’t become impure until it comes through the atmosphere that is when it picks up impurities and chemicals. The pollutants change the pureness of the water, and make it toxic for the human body.
The same applies for our spirit man, our pure hearts. It isn’t until we encounter the impurities and chemicals (sin, temptations and the evil of this world) that our pure hearts become tainted. Think about it, where does a little baby or toddler learn their bad behavior from? Blessed are those that are pure in heart, those that seek after God, those that say God, I prefer your way of living over my own, those that say Lord, I am more interested in being more like you, than that gratify the sins of my flesh. Those that say, I want to sacrifice my life to live like you here on earth. There is a blessing or a happy place that is filled, when we seek Him first and His righteousness. All these (kingdom) things shall be added unto us.
Today is a heart check, ask the Holy Spirit to show you the places in your heart that doesn’t align with His, if you need to see the scripture associated with it, check out Galatians 5:16-21. These things don’t belong in us.
Prayer: Create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit in us so that we can be more like you, in Jesus Name. Amen
