Just enough faith...

Dear friend,

As a teenager, I had a rare blood disorder. During this battle I was fighting for my life and didn’t even know it! At the time, I didn’t have much teaching on healing. But one thing I did have was faith. I believed God at His Word. During my stay in the hospital I quoted the one scripture I knew about healing...by His stripes I am healed! I heard in a song once and the word healing stood out so I repeated it. I couldn’t tell you where to find the scripture or even what it meant. To be honest I thought Jesus was covered in stripes like Tony the Tiger. Whatever the ‘stripes’ were they caused me to be healed. God saw my faith, and because of my confession, the healing had no choice but to manifest!

I continually spoke what I wanted to see and not what I saw. I said what I heard the Father say about me instead of what ‘they were saying!’ I didn’t have it altogether, but what I did have was faith! The words of my mouth, and the mediation of my heart were acceptable in His sight. (See Psalm 19:14). I’m forever thankful that the promises of God are not predicated on what we know and how much we understand, but rather how much we believe! Life’s is too short to live stressed when you’re JessBlessed!

Love
