Love Yourself!

Dear Friend,

How could we love our neighbors as ourselves, if we don't know how to love ourselves?

I was reading 1 Cor 13:4-8 and using it as a commandment of how to love myself, how I should be gentle, patient, long suffering with myself. It showed me how not to rejoice in my failures, and reminds me to believe and hope the best for me. I am learning when I have that type of love for myself, then I can properly love someone else. However the clear thing that I understand is that if God is the object of our love or our first love, then we will reflect what we see in our Father. If we mirror our love walk, after how He loves us and has told us to love, then and only then to "ourselves will be true". 1 Cor 13:4-8 perfect blue print for us loving ourselves.If you want to know or find out to love you, find out how much God loves you.
