I have some really good friends, i mean some really good friends. We aren't quite the "Golden Girls", but we average closely. I treasure and value my relationships, I didn't always. However, I have realized how important we are to each other. More so how important our relationships are to God. If our relationships weren't important God wouldn't spend so much time telling us how to take care of them!
1 Peter 4: 8-10, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
Today I am repentant as well as reflective. Repenting for lacking in my relationships, as well as reflecting on the characteristics of a being true friend:
1) Unconditional Love
2) Unwavering Support
3) Willingness to Challenge You
4) Full of Grace
I want to say thank you to my friends, who have loved me patiently, even when I wasn't as loving to them. Thank you for being my friend.
