Restore

Dear Friend,

In my study of Isaiah 42, and reading all of the attributes mention in verses 1-4, it is not hard to discern that they were prophesying about the coming Messiah! This chic is so grateful to be living in a time, to know that the prophecy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, has be fulfilled. It gives me further assurance, that He will soon return to fulfill His second coming. Verse 10-14 show Isaiah praising the Lord way before He say the promise fulfilled, because He believed it to be so. This is a good reminder to keep a praise in our hearts for our Savior will soon return. What I want to focus in on is Verse 18-22, but with emphasis on the last four words of verse 22. NO ONE SAYS, RESTORE!

18 “Hear, you deaf; And look, you blind, that you may see. 19 Who is blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is blind as he who is perfect, And blind as the Lord’s servant? 20 Seeing many things, but you do not observe; Opening the ears, but he does not hear.”

21 The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness’ sake; He will exalt the law and make it honorable. 22 But this is a people robbed and plundered; All of them are [f]snared in holes, And they are hidden in prison houses; They are for prey, and no one delivers; For plunder, and no one says, “Restore!” (highlight added for emphasis)

“Restore” is defined in 1828 Webster Dictionary as:

  1. To return to a person, as a specific thing which he has lost, or which has been taken from him and unjustly detained. We restore lost or stolen goods to the owner.

  2. To replace; to return; as a person or thing to a former place.

  3. To bring back.

  4. To bring back or recover from lapse, degeneracy, declension or ruin to its former state.

  5. To heal; to cure; to recover from disease.

  6. To make restitution or satisfaction for a thing taken, by returning something else, or something of different value.

Are you tired of being prey? Are you tired of being robbed? Are you tired of being a prisoner? Well, it’s time to stand in your authority and do something! We are choosing to stand to say, “RESTORE!”

What areas are needing restoration in?

Is it your Health?

Declare Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord………”

Is it your Soul?

Declare Psalm 23:3 NKJV “He restores my soul; He leads me in the path of righteousness, For His namesake.”

Is it your Joy?

Declare Psalm 51:12 NKJV “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”

Is it Lost of a Friend, Family, Death, Divorce?

Declare Job 42:10 NKJV “Then Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortune. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!”

Do you feel you have wasted years, and it’s to late for your marriage, your children, your purpose?

Declare Joel 2:25, NKJV “And I will restore to you the year the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust…..”

Are you overtaken in your sins? Hey God is faithful, He will send you Spiritual reinforcement.

Galatians 6:1 KJV “Brethren if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”

Restore, Restore, Restore
