No Records Found...
Dear Friend,
Nothing screams for the need of expert classroom management like the infamous student who demands the attention above everyone else! This student tends to find everything funny, every statement worthy a comment, and they always attempt to get the last word. After multiple occasions where I’ve failed this test by playing into their behavior by consistently being reactive I found that it’s best to be proactive. And the proactive remedy was simply to pay their negative, unwanted behavior no attention. I’ll be honest at first it was hard, but after much practice in irritating situations, it has become easier overtime.
Love is the same way! 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 reads a little more exacting in the amplified classic version. It’s lays it out plainly...
It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
...Love pays NO attention to a suffered wrong!!! So no matter how hectic a situation may get, release it to God in prayer, forgive and ask Him for the grace to cast down every reminder and give it no attention! This was my issue in the classroom. The more negative attention I gave to the student causing the disruption, the more intense they became.
Holy sprit help us to forgive, release, and pay no further attention to things that have happened to us! With God nothing is impossible!
Tired of keeping record,
Jess
