Communication is Key
Dear Friends,
Communication is the life line of any relationship. Without it, the relationship will starve itself to death- Elizabeth Bourgeret
In any relationship we can all agree that communication is a vital component There must be a certain level of communication in marriage, parent/child, family, friendships, work relationships, that establishes and builds value in the relationship. However, none of these relationships are more valuable or should be more valuable than our relationship with Christ. How are you communicating with the Creator? When was the last time you talked with the Father? Have you talked to Him today? If not, can I encourage, as the old mother’s in the church would say, “ to have a little talk with Jesus!” Our relationship with Him has to be cultivated through communication. We have to learn to effectively commune with the Father.
With each new breaking of the day, let the Father hear your voice through prayer.
Psalms 5:3 TPT, “At each and every sunrise you will hear my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to you. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart.
Think about those relationship that we desire to hear from every day. Would we feel valued if we just heard from them sporadically? Why would we think our Father desires anything less? We were created in His image. (see Genesis 1:27) I Thessalonians 5:16-18 TPT says, “Let joy be your continual feat. 17) Make your life prayer. 18) And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. These three virtues, joy, praying. and thanksgiving are sure ways of us communicating with our Father. This is a clear indicator that He truly wants to hear from us. Let’s make a vow to keep the communication open in our relationship with our Father. It’s the lifeline to the success of all the other relationships around us.
