There is A Superpower Within!

Dear Friend,

Did you know you have a superpower within you?

Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

I am a huge fan of shows with superheroes. I love Superman, Wonder Woman, Iron Man and so forth. Any time Marvel releases a new movie, my family and I usually go and see it on the first day. We watch television shows that are related to superheroes. We aren’t obsessed with it, but they are definitely our favorites. One of the things that I am most intrigued with is when they transform from “regular person” to superhero. The reason it is so significant for me is because even without their “uniform”, they still possess the same strength and power, dressed or undressed. However once they change clothes, you know that denotes their authority as a super hero.

God wants us to walk in the same authority in our lives, to transform from the flesh and remember the spiritual authority that He has given us in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:19). However, most of the time we focus on human opponents and human resources. Human opponents are not our problem, the battle of our lives is fought in the spiritual realm, we have to ask God to give us “eyes” to see the spiritual war in our lives, so that we learn to tap into our “spiritual strength”.

There is a “script” written for this in the scriptures, one that denotes our “super powers” or spiritual authority (Luke 10:19). One that reminds us that satan, was defeated when Jesus went to the cross, that reminds us we are overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11), one that says no matter what we are set up for a “win.”

You must remember you don’t have enough human resources to fight the enemy, your spirit was designed to win this war, that’s why it’s essential that you renew and be transformed in your mind (Ephesians 4:23), the majority of the war is in your mind. Gird yourself with truth (Ephesians 6:14) today, so that your eyes can be opened to the hope of your call in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:17). What superpower do you possess to change the world around you? The most powerful one is love! For God so loved the World, He gave His only Son, so that we could have life and experience it more abundantly (paraphrased), our Light allows us to extend the same.

Love is My SuperPower,

LMJ
