Genesis 1: 1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”.

Dear Friend,

Today let's establish our relationship with God, understanding who He is and who He was to come. It is easy to get “stale” in any relationship. However, it is a desire growing in His people, to fall in love with Him all over again. While the bible is broken into chapters it is really a romance novel, that is built on a series of events. Often people don’t understand the significance of the Old Testament, I have heard many people say “But we aren’t under the law.” We aren’t, but just as you start in a relationship with anyone, it’s important that you build a solid foundation. The best relationships occur because we took the time to get to know each other. It is the same for our relationship with God.

Genesis 1:1-10. God is our creative force, He establishes this easily. He created everything around us and said, “This is Good.” He can be found in the trees, the plants, the ground, the river, the lake and the oceans, the mountains. God can be found in YOU. God establishes early, that HE created everything, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and He alone. Take time today to meditate on Genesis 1:1-10, and see God as the creator of everything, and that it is all good!
