See you later...
Dear Friend,
I hope as I write to you today, you have found peace, joy and love . On yesterday my grandmother, the matriarch of our family would take her rest, and make her entrance to see the King of Kings. As much as I prepared for this transition, i don't know that I was ready for it. I remember yelling out telling God, I am tired of saying goodbyes. I am, i have said too many of them in my life time.
I was meditating and I heard the sweet Holy Spirit say to me, "LaKisha you don't have to tell her goodbye, just tell her you will see her later". That is part of the benefit package of accepting Christ in your life, you get to see your grandmother later. My spirit got still and 2 Corinthians 5:8 came to my heart, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." I know that my grandmother is at rest, and even though my heart is sad, and i will miss her face. I will keep in mind that she is at the feet of Jesus and there is no greater love than that. He loved her first, just like He did me.
