The Human Side of God

Dear Friend,

Philippians says, "Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus..."

The same mindset as Christ Jesus...who knew who He was in divine nature but who chose to serve, to operate in compassion and in love. He was the human side of God on earth, His service to us was of sacrifice and in love. This means we got to experience God-Servant leader in action here on earth. So if this is the case, then when people experience US, the human side of God, they should experience service, compassion and love. If we really want to do this right then we have to follow the he example before us to be compassion, service and love. 1 John (See 1 John 1-8) reminds us that the truth of who we are is to admit our imperfect ways, which also means we have to be willing to accept someone in theirs. Again the mind of Christ, compassion, service and love... the Human Side of God..
