A High Praise!
Dear Friend,
Psalms 100:4 says, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." However the scripture says before that says, Know that God is the one who created us, not us but Him. We are His people, we are the sheep of our pasture. This means that HE provides for us, takes care of us and makes sure that we are well protected. In this we honor Him with praise, as a matter of fact we should make our life a praise.
One of the highest forms of praise that we can demonstrate to God is our acts of love that we show other people (See John 13:34-35). That is a high praise. Any time we step into a place of intercession for one another, we step into a place of love. We step into position with God to say, that we agree for the very best for this person's life (see James 5:16). What a sacrifice of love it is to pray, especially when we don't feel like praising or when the person hasn't been the best to us! We tell God, I am going to love any how, and I am believing the very best for their life (see Phil 2:2-3). Intercession prayer is a high form of praise (worship), it says God we put your will and desire before our own. We come into partnership and agreement with you and your Word. That's a high praise (see Psalms 9:1-2)!
