Stop, Look and Listen!

Dear Friend,

As a young child, I was taught the basic life skill of how to cross the street. I was shown the proper way to approach the crosswalk, watch the lights and signals, and how to be aware of my surroundings. And the phrase that summed it all up was, STOP, LOOK and LISTEN. Stop at the intersection or street, look both ways for any oncoming traffic, and listen for any vehicles coming in your direction.

As we walk on this road called life, we have to be attentive. No matter what we face in life we should take the same approach. Stop before just running into situations. Look to Him for wisdom (Proverbs 2:6), and instructions for the particular situation. And then listen to His still small voice as you move forward in the things of God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways[every little thing you do] submit to him, and he will make your paths straight! So today take the time to slow down and be aware of your surroundings. Not fearful, but walk in the wisdom of God! Approach your day with a Kingdom Perspective because life is too short for you to live stressed when you're JessBlessed!

In Wisdom,

Jessica
