It's a cop out....
Dear Friend, Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do! Watcha gonna do when they come for you...This is the chorus from one of the first reality tv shows that shadowed cops on their nightly patrol. Sometimes they conducted simple routine stops while in other clips they were chasing down people through backyards and down streets. Either way, there was always going to be some action! But unfortunately, many of us take this take perspective when it comes our relationship with God. We find ourselves falling short and messing up. The Holy Spirit convicts us, but then the enemy comes behind us and attempts to condemn us. After that it’s all over and we take off running. And if we’re not careful we will get snared by our own thoughts of worthlessness. Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. So if you’re in Christ all you have to do is confess and repent. Run to Him and not from Him. He’s not the police. He’s not out to get you and arrest you. He loves you! Surrendering All,
Jess
