The Stabilizer

Dear Friend,

I remember one of my vehicle's that i had bought was having some problems. My mechanic looked it over and said you have a problem with your stable bar (sway bar). A sway bar prevents the car from leaning to from one side to another. I asked my mechanic was it necessary for me to fix now, he looked for a minute and said, "If you don't want your car out of balance or a chance for something worse to happen, yes it is completely necessary." I am going to be honest I didn't want to spend the money on it, but figured out later after it cost me a tire and a rim that it was completely necessary. Because the rims on my truck were custom, the loss of one rim cost me a full set of rims, which also cost me a full set of tires. You get it? It went from being a small fix to a much larger problem because I didn't understand the importance of the stability bar, or sway bar.

Grace operates the same way in our lives, it provides stability, to keep us from swaying or leaning to one particular side, Grace is the balance between us and God. It pulls back centered between our human nature and our spirit man. Grace is our redeemer and keeps us from paying the cost, of things that we should really pay. He is the Grace. Psalms 62:2 says, "He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken." He is my stabilizer. There is so much stability when we find His Grace!

Stable in Grace,

LMJ
