Find the Grace...

Dear Friend,

Perhaps yesterday didn't start or end as a good day. You've been on this path of trying to do the right things, make the right decisions, be in the right position, spend more time with God, increase your prayer life and become and overall better person. But perhaps, yesterday wasn't that day. As a matter of fact let's be honest, you really lost it. You couldn't get your footing you couldn't find peace. And if things could be any worse, it seemed as if God wasn't talking.

Been there, done that... those days when it seemed like my prayers weren't working, things weren't happening and God and I were standing on different sides of the fence. I remember having one of those days and waking up the next morning, feeling even worse because I felt like I was back at step 1. As a matter of fact, I remember sitting up on my side of the bed feeling low, and it seemed like I felt the Father lift, my chin with His hand and say, "Look at me, I am still the same, my attitude towards you has not changed. Just find the grace." (see Romans 8:31-39)

What I mean by finding the Grace is don't be so hard on yourself. Remember you can't earn this anyway. Our relationship with God, isn't built on what we do, it's built on who He IS, Ephesians 2:8 says, For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God."

We have to give ourselves permission to remember, It may not always be a good day, and when we don't have a good day, to call upon His Grace . His grace is the divine intervention we need. Look at what Hebrews 4:6 says, "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need". He provides for us what we need, as a matter of fact, if I haven't learned anything else is that His strength shows up and shows out when we are weak (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).

Some days you won't have it all together!!! SO push pride aside, and don't always feel like you have to do everything in your own strength, as a matter of fact, most things you can't (see Zechariah 4:6). We miss it when we don't realize that we need a supernatural strength for this journey we are on, a power that can only come from God. Remember He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (see Isaiah 40:29).

His Grace sustains Me,

LMJ

P.S. I have found out that Psalms 51 and a song in my heart help me best to find the grace, and then I call for a "do over" a reset, and I have realized I don't start over at "1", I actually accelerate to a new level, when I realize it isn't on me anyway. so Find the Grace...
