No more begging!

Dear Friend, Have you ever seen a tree running around begging for water? Or while waiting in line at Walmart and seen a tree checking out at the register with his groceries? These two scenarios sound foolish and ridiculous right?!?! But this is exactly how we look when we’re not planted and grounded in the provision of God! We’ll find ourselves running around begging and thirsty trying to find an alternative means of provision when God has already provided. Psalm 1:3 says we should be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water. Then in Jeremiah 17:7-8 it goes even deeper and says, “"But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Who do you trust? Where is your confidence? Is it in the systems of this World or the supernatural system of His Kingdom. God’s grace is amazing and sufficient. It is able to keep you planted and grounded. Lord open my eyes today that I may see you as my source and Provider. You said that you’re my Shepherd and I want for nothing. Today I put my full weight on you and I will trust you like never before. I will not be moved by the temporal situations around me. I thank you for every provision in my life. And I thank you for your grace to stay rooted and grounded in you love. Because of you, I’m fruitful and multiplying in everything. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. Staying rooted and planted, Jess
