Giving Thanks in All Things...

Good Morning Ladies (and few gents),

Today’s devotion included below “Giving Thanks in All Things” is a reminder from GiG Mary that, “There are no accidents with God, nor is He surprised by anything or anyone in the life of His child. God uses even the most horrendous circumstances for our good. It is only in God’s economy that being thankful transforms tragedy into triumph.”

GiG, this is probably one of the hardest truths to understand and accept. In all honesty, I don’t fully grasp it, but I trust God is THE GOD of his Word and can be trusted. I don’t have to fully grasp it to know it is true because he says it is so and that settles it.

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15:7 NIV.

God uses the unlikely to do the unimaginable. God has gifted us with every talent and skill we need to complete His purpose for us. So we mustn’t be afraid of the things God has for us; instead, embrace them and trust that He has called us and He will guide us!

GiG, yesterday while driving to work, I heard a preacher on the radio say something that the Holy Spirit interpreted as this, we are members of God’s Special Forces. Like firefighters who go into a burning building when others are running out. We go into lives that are messy; walk beside testimonies that contain tragedy, and are given truth to speak that can be trusted. And many of us are wondering why we are broken people magnets—well now you know. Strap on your gear-we’re on mission that mind you isn’t easy, nor pretty, but God-inspired. Let’s go to work!

May we be encouraged today to trust and obey: we got this; whatever our this is—because God’s Got Us! Proclaim, proclaim, PROCLAIM!

God’s Got It…so we can TRUST—Jesus knows right where we are, and He knows how long we’ve been there.

We must never shy away from the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, … for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes … Romans 1:16 NKJV

Called to serve and encouraging others to thrive,
