The Story of the Inch Worm

Dear Friend,

The Story of the Inch Worm:

I was taking a walk one day, out on my country highway. I noticed an inch worm coming out of the grass, and moving toward the other side of the road. I looked for a minute and picked it up with a stick (not with my hand, I'm not that brave) and put it back in the grass. I proceeded to walk a little further and started to think about what I did. Why did you put it back in the grass? In my mind, I wanted the inch worm to be SAFE, I didn't want it to get run over by a car, I didn't want it to burn up in the sun, it was a 90 degree day, I had thought of all of the things that would go wrong with the inch worm.

As I began to walk; I started hearing, "What if none of that happened, What if he made it, you don't know the inch worms final destination. I went back and looked for the inchworm, found it and took it to the other side. Thinking it needs MY help, I could very well have hindered it's process. What if it didn't need me to carry it all the way, what if it just needed me to leave it alone, to find its way. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death, Proverbs 14:12
