Seed to the Sower
Dear Friend,
I love to sow and not just because I will get a harvest, but to be a benefit to those around me. Lately, my budget hasn't allowed me to give the way that I want to give. However, God reminded me of something in His word recently. He said, "It's not always about how much you give, it's the fact that you give. I always like Him to back it up in the Word, and He did.
As Jesus was sitting opposite the treasury, He watched the crowd putting money into it. And many rich people put in large amounts. 42Then one poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amounted to a small fraction of a denarius. 43Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more than all the others into the treasury. Mark 12:41-43
I am a widow, He reminded me this morning it doesn't matter how much, it matters that I did. Seed is still seed, and it still produces and is still kingdom. We don't realize the impact of what's in one seed. One seed can produce multiple trees in it. How? Think about it, if one tree is produced out of one seed, what's produced out of the fruit on that tree, multiple seeds.
Someone just said, but I don't have seed, ask Him to give it to you. He will supply seed to the sower (the one who has a desire to sow consistently). Let's back that up in the Word. Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. (see 2 Cor 9:10) . Now sow, sower.
I am a Sower,
