The Birds in the Air...
Dear Friend,
The other day I was cleaning out my refrigerator and throwing away old bread. We live in a very wooded area and I never throw my food in the trash unless it's spoiled. We always put the food in the woods. As i was cleaning out the food and setting it aside for the birds and other animals. The Lord spoke to me and reminded me, "If I take care of the birds, do you not think I would care for you? The same way that I just used you to take care of the birds and the animals, I can and will empower the atmosphere to take care of you as well.
Matthew 6:25-27 reminds us, "25Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns— and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
The journey in full time ministry has been an interesting one. There have been times my faith has been challenged and I've met what I thought has been the impossible, but I have seen and experienced nothing but the faithfulness of God. Today we are reminded, that we are more important than the birds and the Father as He does the birds, carries the responsibility of us as well. There is nothing we stand in need of, that God can't provide and He will do whatever it takes to take care of us, and will use whom He pleases, after all He has the heart of Kings in His hand (see Proverbs 21:1). Thank you Daddy for thinking more of us than the birds in the air.
He Keeps On Blessing Us,
