TRUST ME!!!!!!!

Dear Friend, “My way or no way!” These words rumbled out of my heart as He tried to help me do something. In this moment I saw that anytime I resist Him or try explain why I should do something...this is exactly what I was telling Him. I needed a strategy to be more effective and efficient. What I did wasn’t working. I knew there had to be a better way. Lately, I been asking the Lord to bring to my attention the TRUE motives of my heart. Asking the “WHY” behind the “WHAT” I do. As creatures of habit our human nature easily gets in the groove of doing life the same old way just because it worked, or maybe just because it’s the regular thing we do. Or maybe just because we are fearful that it just won’t work out! For me trusting completely in God (in every single area of my life) is uncomfortable! I’ve done it Jess’ way for sooooooo long. Most of us don’t like change because it Is uncomfortable, unpredictable, and the outcome can be uncertain. But something I’m coming to the realization of is that Kingdom Living is uncomfortable to our flesh, but satisfying to our Spirit! We are instructed to walk in the spirit so we won’t fulfill the lust of our flesh. So shouldn’t our flesh be continually uncomfortable, yet confident in Him at all times..the answer is yes! We should always press into the supernatural and trust God for the results. The uncertainty comes when we don’t trust Him. I have found myself doing the same things over and over again. Yielding the same results. Frustrated by the outcome but not willing to do anything different. I’m ready now! It’s ok to be flexible, and it’s ok to not know EVERYTHING! I’ve struggled with being let down by those that I love or have put my confidence in. Unfortunately I had attached the same attitude to my unfailing God. Because of the Word I’m becoming more reliant on the Him and less on myself. Begin to saturate yourself in the Word and watch your mindset be renewed. Psalm 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Psalm 37:5 Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. My friend it’s time to walk through life continually victorious! Let go of your way, and surrender to His way! No more tantrums! In the words of LMJ, “It’s Kingdom Baby!” His way or no way, Jess
