Dear Friends,

Dear Friend, 3...2...1...SNAP! Nothing happened! The bomb squad officer cut the green wire instead of the red one. Everyone waiting around him screams and cries tears of gratefulness because they didn’t lose their lives. The bomb never exploded. The officer takes off his glasses and wipes one drop of sweat from his forehead. He sits there unbothered, because he has been trained to handle high stress situations. Movie moments like these can excite you and get your adrenaline rushing as if you’re right there with them. But the enemy of our souls tries to corner us and put us in those same pressure filled situations. For me, he will try to turn time into a weapon to get me to rush under pressure when there is nothing to worry about. The Holy Spirit has given me the answer, the Grace, and peace to handle it. We have to turn to Him and trust in the Word of God. But in those moments, the environment would to create the impression that I was surround by people, unrealistic expectations of time, and that everything was based on me making a decision NOW! Then fear, anxiety, and stress set in because I got distracted. My friend whatever bomb squad like situation(s) the enemy has tried to create around us let’s stand and be confident in the truth.
