The Kindness of God

Dear Friends,

How many of us love receiving acts of kindness shown towards us? How many of us love showing acts of kindness? I am sure it’s sheer pleasure to us all to be both on the giving, and the receiving end of kindness. When was the last time we reflected on the loving kindness of God? Let’s take a moment to do that now. God, your kindness is like a ray of sunshine on a gloomy filled day. Your kindness smells like the scent of spice of a fall day. God, your kindness embraces me like a tight hug from grandma on a somber filled day. On a hot, humid summer day, your kindness is that cool breeze blowing in wind. When we think of God’s kindness, I hope that it causes a wide smile to overtake our face, and make us feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Above all, I pray that your feel safe and secure in His kindness, at least that is how it makes me feel.

God loving kindness towards us was so great that He strategically devised a plan to bring His healing and wholeness to all that would receive it.

Titus 3:4-5 Amplified Bible confirms this “but when the goodness and kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], 5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit..”

Hallelujah, hallelujah, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you!! Lord, your loving kindness is simply amazing!!! So, the next time we are giving and/or receiving kindness, may the Holy Spirit bring to our remembrance that we are bearing His fruit, and looking like our Heavenly Father. Ephesian 4:32 admonishes us to , “ Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave [c]you.” May the kindness of God draw you, and compel you from this day forward.

You Is Kind,

Chanda Rose
