Bigger....

Dear Friend,

Lately I've been meditating on this scripture. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us... (see Eph 3:20). When studying this scripture in Ephesians Paul is writing to us about the greater works of God and the "call" on the lives of those who God has revealed (made known, laid open, discovered) himself too. When we see the word reveal, we understand that it also emphasizes that we have this equally and can share in this richly.

So as I meditated on this I began to think, if He does above all I can think or imagine, perhaps it hasn't happen yet or I haven't see it (whatever God wants to do in my life) because I don't think big enough! My God!!!!! I had to began to ask myself about my roots being strong enough (see Psalms 1) in His word. Did I really understand His promises for me? Did I really know and understand that I am the "seed" of Abraham? Just as Abraham believed God and his faith was counted as righteousness (see Genesis 15:6), so are all today who believe in God’s Son justified apart from the Law. In this way, Abraham is the “father” of all who believe (see Romans 4:11–17). “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (see Galatians 3:29) *. Meaning I have every promise endowed to me, because I am apart of the inheritance as well (see Genesis 12:1-3) so that I can make impact for God's glory.

God's power is working in you, now for you to do or experience Bigger, to experience for His glory. Perhaps it hasn't manifested yet, because we haven't thought big enough yet, or even more about what that "big" is. God had me thinking to pray bigger, to think bigger. So I changed my prayer to, God do with my life what you want, and get more glory out of my life than I can imagine, I just want to be used for your glory. No matter what it is. Now I can't make that manifest, only He can. Maybe that's why Paul put emphasis on the fact that it's God, that does it and not us. Anyway, it's got me thinking that I need to get out of my own way, so God can do the "bigger" and if I want Him to reveal himself to me, I can't limit my capacity to my little thinking.

So i dare you today to pray bigger, to think bigger to ask God to get the maximum glory out of your life, so that you can produce seeds 30, 60 and 100 fold (see Matthew 13:1-23). Go Big or Go Home!
