Look Closer

Dear Friend, The other morning I was attempting to close my kitchen cabinet door. As soon as I shut it, it swung back at me. I calmly moved the items back that were toward front hoping this would resolve the issue. It didn’t. I closed the door again and no success! I repeated this about three more times knowing that eventually I was going to move the right item out of the way. But it wasn’t until I took the time to slow down and look closely. Then I was able to see what was in the way. After carefully looking I realized it had nothing to do with items in the cabinet. It was because a cord was sticking out of the drawer below it that was discretely tucked just right to obstruct the door! Beloved, if it’s not working, then something is in the way. And it may not be your fault, but pause, and ask Him to help you see the situation through His eyes! Daniel 10:12-14 | Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come.” Daniel knew that he was doing the right thing by seeking God in prayer. He knew the answer had been released. But it made no sense why it should’ve been delayed. However, Daniel persevered and remained humble until the situation was resolved. And the angel revealed what was blocking the way! Be encouraged today! Continue to seek His face and stand on the promises of His Word! Continue to stand in the authority of Jesus Christ! And then stand back and see the power of Heaven manifest in your world today!!! Stay calm...it’s all worked out! Life’s too short live stressed when you’re JessBlessed
