Nope, Not Today!

Dear Friends,

Just, because I thought, I heard a devil say something!!! I wanted to remind my sisters and brothers that Satan, has absolutely no possible recourse against our personal testimony! Let me say it another way, “the devil ain’t running nothing!!!” So, let me bring us into remembrance that our greatest weapon against his attacks is having a very good memory. Honey, we have to let him know with authority, that we haven’t forgotten a single one of God’s benefits to His children.

He forgives (our) sins-every one.

He heals (our) diseases-every one.

He redeems (us) from hell-He saves our life!

He crowns (us) with love and mercy-a paradise crown.

He wraps (us) in goodness-beauty eternal

He renews (our) youth-you’re always young in His presence.

God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet.

Psalm 103:3-6 Message Bible (made personal)

In our hearts let’s hang the trophies of God goodness. When we experience the victories that He promised us, let’s make that a place of remembrance on the shelves of our hearts. Then, when we are faced with the challenges of life again (see John 16:33). Before we respond or react, let’s take a tour of God’s accomplishments, deed, and performances that He has done. All the prayers He has so graciously answered, all the blessing He has bestowed upon us, all the dangers He kept us from.

By pausing and doing this we learn to face our future obstacles, by taking a look at the past obstacles God has given us victory over. That is what David, did when he was just a shepherd boy. Before he faced Goliath, he reminded bout King Saul, and himself of what His God had done before.

I Samuel 17:34-37 Message Bible, “David said, “I’ve been a shepherd, tending sheep for my father. Whenever a lion or bear came and took a lamb from the flock, I’d go after it, knock it down, and rescue the lamb. If it turned on me, I’d grab it by the throat, wring its neck, and kill it. Lion or bear, it made no difference—I killed it. And I’ll do the same to this Philistine pig who is taunting the troops of God-Alive. God, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine.”

Let’s takes notes from David. I know our God, has delivered each of us from something. You know how I know??? Because we are still here. You are wearing those victories well. So despite what you’re up against this day, declare boldly, “My God will deliver me from this (insert what it is)!!!!! As Saul, told David, I say to you as well, “Go. And God help (will) you!” (vs.38 emphasis added)

Not Today Satan,

Chanda Rose
