You Just Got Served!

Dear Friend,

Years ago there was a television show that challenged the moral code of the average person in a public situation. There would be staged actors and actresses creating a scene of injustice. In most cases the scenarios included a child being victimized by an enraged parent or two people intensely engaged in an argument. Hidden cameras would roll to see the impression that was made on the innocent bystander walking by or sitting near the situation. They would usually be in the middle of a restaurant while people enjoyed a peaceful lunch that was rudely interrupted. And what happened next would reflect just how much a person was moved with compassion for justice based on what was taking place in their presence. Many would sit nonchalantly as if nothing was taking place. While others jumped to their feet and stood in between the two to stop the madness. It all was based upon the person’s moral code and perspective on justice.

God’s perspective on justice is straight forward and to the point! He boldly declares in Isaiah 61:8...”For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.”

Do not be moved when it seems like injustice is winning! There’s no need to defend yourself because God is on your side! Stand on His word and promise that justice has been served on the enemy of your soul. We serve a God that’s omnipresent. He’s better than any hidden camera! He watches everything that goes on around us! But unlike the instant bystander who looks the other way, He will fight for us...we just have to get out of the way.

Therefore my friend, we are victorious in every battle! Remember God loves justice so he won’t tolerate injustice in our lives. The verdict has been declared and He has ruled in our favor! Jesus is the final authority in our situations!

And besides life’s too short to live stressed when you’re JessBlessed!
