I Need to Pass the Test!
Dear Friend, Test anxiety is something that I dealt with coming up in grade school. I was fully equipped to blow just about any assignment out the water with an “A” that came my way. But, it always seemed like as soon as the big moment came, I fell to pieces. My norm was to skip over important parts and jump to conclusions thinking that it would expedite the testing moment. However, I found that my consistent result was usually a “B” and once I went over what I missed it was simply the little details that I rushed through and missed. It looked as I would never pass an exam with an “A” because I just let anxiety rush me through the process. This didn’t have to be my story. I found that when I took my time and remained at peace I would do well! Worry and anxiety are always rooted in fear! In the following scriptures we find the remedy for anxiety! Isaiah 52:12 | NLT You will not leave in a hurry, running for your lives. For the LORD will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind. Philippians 4:6-9 | NIV 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.And the God of peace will be with you. Let’s remember... 1. Trust that God has our back! And we cannot be bullied by anxiety. 2. Pray with a thankful heart and make every requests known. 3. The peace of God will cover our heart and mind. 4. Think about what we think about. Focus on the good! Think Kingdom and keep God’s perspective. 5. Do what we have read in the Word and we will remain grounded in His peace. 6. Rest in His grace and ability instead our own. The Word has been and will forever be our solution!
