Break-Away Time by S. Johnson

Friends,

BREAK-AWAY TIME

Ever felt like you just needed some time to breathe, that you just needed a break from everything? (But of course) The mind tell you things such as: You cant do that, You know _____ needs you, what would they do without you. ( whether it's a job or someone that personally depends on you) and rightfully so, we are to be dedicated. But being dedicated doesn't mean there isn't a BREAK-AWAY TIME. Truth is, if something major occurred with you, ( a job) will immediately replace you. (Somebody needs this)

There's always a time needed for rest. Even Jesus had BREAK-AWAY TIMES.

1. Luke 6:12 TPT

After leaving the synagogue, Jesus went into the high hills to spend the whole night in prayer to God. (He needed that time)

2. Luke 5:15‭-‬16 TPT

After this miracle, the news about Jesus spread even farther. Massive crowds continually gathered to hear him speak and to be healed from their illnesses. But Jesus often slipped away from them and went into the wilderness to pray.

3. Mark 6:30‭-‬32 TPT

The apostles returned from their mission and gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught. There was such a swirl of activity around Jesus, with so many people coming and going, that they were unable to even eat a meal. So Jesus said to his disciples, “Come, let’s take a break and find a secluded place where you can rest a while.” They slipped away and left by sailboat for a deserted spot.

REST

Genesis 2:2‭-‬3 AMPC

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. And God blessed (spoke good of) the seventh day, set it apart as His own, and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all His work which He had created and done.

(Not only is rest needed from the physical, but rest naturally, spiritually from stress, tensions, other worries the mind has taken on, spirital warfares and battles just to name a few.)

Psalms 37:7a NKJV

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;

( You have too)

2 Chronicles 20:15g GW

The battle isn’t yours. It’s God’

TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU

PS: Some things can wait. Schedule it for a later date. ( BREAK-AWAY doesn't always mean you have to leave town. ( Get somewhere and SIT-DOWN. ( MUCH NEEDED REST)
