Keep Reaching!

Dear Friend,

Toddlers are the most independent, resilient, lovable, grown up acting, sticky fingered, potty trainin’, t-shirt wearing, juice spilling’, snack eating balls of joy who can do no wrong! My household is blessed with one and she is the best! Ms. Elise Grace is always positive and no matter the situation fully confident in herself! Her self esteem is out of this world and she believes that she can do anything. And my prayer is that she stays this way.

The other day she was trying to get something out of the closet that was on the top shelf. She grabbed her stool and began to reach. Arm extended and toes pointed she tried and tried. It’s was not enough...I watched her from afar as she didn’t request for help. She just kept reaching. When she saw me standing by her side she didn’t have to say a word. Elise knew that I knew where she needed help. And of course my reach was all she needed and I pulled down what she desired.

Beloved, this is exactly what happens to us with our Father God. There’s nothing to far out of reach that He can’t handle! We may try to do everything we can in our own strength but it may never be enough. It’s not about doing! It’s about receiving the Grace and Love of God! And His Love and Grace fills every gap and covers every deficit. Remember God is always by your side and will never leave it!

David said it best to his son Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:20, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the LORD is finished correctly.”

Be encouraged today knowing that the Lord is with you and all around you! You are engraved in the palm of His hand and nothing can change that! Fall in love all over again with the Father! He is all that we will ever need!

Besides life’s too short to live stressed when you’re JessBlessed!
